How many guests does The Rutledge accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 275 seated guests very comfortably!
How long will we have access to the venue?
We offer access to The Rutledge from 9 am to midnight on the day of the event.
Where can our guests park and are there other transportation options?
Downtown Grand Rapids has ample public parking options, as well easy-to-use public transportation, some of which is free! You can read more about the many parking and transportation options available here.
Do you offer an in-house bar service?
Yes! The Rutledge has a full-service bar with reasonably priced beverage packages. Included with each package is five-hour bar service, glassware, soda, mixers, fruit garnish, and an ice & water station.
Our three packages:
- Beer & Wine: One domestic and one craft beer and a choice of any three wines from a selection of reds, whites and rosés.
- Classic: Two domestic and two craft beers and a choice of any four wines from a selection of reds, whites and rosés; a wide variety of liquors included
- Premium: Two domestic and two craft beers and a choice of any four wines from a selection of reds, whites and rosés; a wide variety of top-shelf liquors included, along with a signature cocktail

Which vendors do you recommend?
We work with all florists, photographers, and other vendors in the area.
Our vendor prep space was specified by a local chef to include all the essentials. We work with any local licensed caterers (a $250 fee applies to caterers not on our preferred list).
